Frequently Asked Questions

Where is MPS located?

MPS is currently located in the grounds of Greystanes Disability Services, in Leura in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney. See find us for further details.

What sorts of products does MPS make for their clients?

MPS makes a wide range of positioning products for their clients. See the products  section for a full list, images and flyers.

What makes MPS products unique?

MPS tailors every product to the client's environmental and social needs. Their products are fully customised and designed to support the client’s functioning, enhance wellbeing and comfort and maximise mobility. MPS is the only service of its type in Australia that provides a mobile service to meet the needs of their clients. MPS also uses a unique waterproof protective coating on their products for maximum wear and durability.

I already have a wheelchair for my child. Can I have a customised insert made for them?

Yes, most likely. MPS aims to meet the needs of all its clients. In 99% of cases, inserts can be made for wheelchairs. An individual assessment will confirm this.

What if the product doesn't seem to fit or do the job?

All MPS products are custom-made to maximise the comfort and mobiity of its clients. With most products there is a trial period where the client and carer/ family has the opportunity to 'settle in' and test the product. MPS will then assess the effectiveness of the product and - if required - will make modifications to suit.

How do I order a product?

Some order forms are available on the products page. CHANGE

How do I pay for the MPS product?

Funding may be available for your needs through the relevant state government equipment subsidy program. You may wish to consult with an occupational therapist for assistance with this process. Alternatively, products can be paid through private means.

Does MPS service the whole of Australia?

MPS aims to meet the needs of all their clients and, where possible, will make arrangements to assess the needs of interstate clients. MPS currently services clients across NSW and ACT, and in parts of Victoria and Queensland.
