MPS History

MPS started in 2001 when a staff member at Greystanes Disability Services decided to design and create the kind of tailored seating and positioning supports she had worked with in the Netherlands. Since that time, MPS has evolved into the only mobile seating and positioning assessment and equipment service and has had won several awards for innovation, disability access and business potential.

For a decade, MPS operated from a workshop at the Greystanes property at Leura but in 2011, MPS received a major boost of one-off Government funding to fit-out it a modern factory in the Blue Mountains Business Park. The new MPS factory (Unit 1, 14-16 Livingstone Street, Lawson) opened in in May 2012.
